Cedar City, UT – Five teenagers are facing felony charges after a drive-by shooting in Cedar City. The incident occurred on July 4th, when the suspects allegedly fired multiple shots at a residence while driving by.
According to the Cedar City Police Department, the suspects range in age from 16 to 18 years old. They were arrested on July 6th and booked into the Iron County Jail on charges of felony discharge of a firearm, felony criminal mischief, and misdemeanor reckless endangerment.
No one was injured in the shooting, but the residence sustained significant damage. Police say the incident was not random and that the suspects knew the individuals who lived at the residence.
