Breaking News: Shocking Details Emerge in Cedar City Drive-By Shooting Involving 5 Teenagers

Cedar City, UT – Five teenagers are facing felony charges after a drive-by shooting in Cedar City. The incident occurred on July 4th, when the suspects allegedly fired multiple shots at a residence while driving by.

According to the Cedar City Police Department, the suspects range in age from 16 to 18 years old. They were arrested on July 6th and booked into the Iron County Jail on charges of felony discharge of a firearm, felony criminal mischief, and misdemeanor reckless endangerment.

No one was injured in the shooting, but the residence sustained significant damage. Police say the incident was not random and that the suspects knew the individuals who lived at the residence.

The investigation is ongoing, and police are asking anyone with information about the incident to come forward. They are also reminding the public that incidents like this will not be tolerated in Cedar City.

“This type of behavior is unacceptable and will not be tolerated in our community,” said Cedar City Police Chief Darin Adams. “We will continue to work diligently to identify and hold accountable those who choose to engage in criminal activity.”
