Attorney Bio

Paul H. Johnson grew up on a potato farm in Idaho Falls, Idaho, learning at a young age to care for livestock, operate farm equipment, and perform all types of farm labor, as well as being exposed to all aspects of the family farming business. After graduating from high school and attending one year of college, he served a two-year Christian mission in Tokyo, Japan. He graduated from Brigham Young University with a Bachelor’s Degree in Finance, and a minor in Japanese. In order to pay for college, he spent his summers as a member of the International Laborer’s Union working as a laborer and form-setter on a commercial cement crew, traveling to worksites all over Southeastern Idaho, Southwestern Wyoming and Southwestern Montana. He graduated from the University of Idaho College of Law, spending his last year of law school as a visiting student at the BYU Law School. He has been married to his wife, Andrea (who is employed as an accountant for Meadow Gold Dairies), for 29 years, and they have three children, ages 23 (Max), 19 (Mikaela), and 15 (Miles). Like most people, he enjoys getting together with his co-workers after work to talk about work, but outside of work he enjoys spending time with his family and being a sports fan, particularly concerning the Utah Jazz and BYU football.
